Other Than publishes fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and art (black and white only, .jpg (JPEG) files appreciated). There are no hard and fast rules here -- this zine is devoted to material that falls outside the lines in form, genre, and content. We only ask that it be exceptional. We like stories about the Midwest, and we like stories about spaceships. But we don't like stories about Midwestern spaceships. Everybody knows Japan builds the best spaceships. 5000 words and under if you please.

We accept e-mail submissions ONLY. Email your work to us as MS Word attachment at here with the subject line "Submission:(Fiction, Poetry, Non-Fiction, or Art)". Please use standard manuscript format. Or else. We'll get back to you in under a moon. Please submit only one story, poem, review, essay, what have you, at a time.

We buy first North American rights and sometimes reprints. At this time, we can only pay in copies, although we mean to change that. We don't buy electronic rights, although we do put some things from the zine on the website, and maybe -- just maybe -- we will accept other material for it as well.
